At Ibens Smørrebrød we serve each of our spreadable pieces on an old Danish plate. A flat, decorative plate made of porcelain. The traditional plates were originally made for special events, holidays or as commemorative plates. They are especially known from Danish manufacturers such as Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grøndahl, and the iconic Christmas plates have been popular collectors' items in many Danish homes since the late 19th century.

Our coffee comes from Fazenda Aranquã in Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, Brazil. Here, the coffee is grown organically and biodynamically by Luca Allegro, who has run the farm according to Demeter-certified principles since the year 2000.
