What is the most classic Danish smørrebrød?
All pieces on Iben’s menu are classic with a twist!
But the most traditional pieces are The Three Classics.
Are drinks mandatory?
We kindly ask you to choose drinks from the fridge together with your smørrebrød.
If you are not up for a danish beer, glass of white wine – and even maybe a local aquavit – or a traditional alcohol free alternative, you are welcome to settle for water (choose between still or sparkling, ad libitum per person).
Can I use the toilet?
Unfortunately, we do not have a customers toilet.
We refer you to the public toilet at Marmorkirken, Frederiksgade 3, also accessible to the disabled, open 24 hours a day and free to use all year round. The toilet is located 350 meters from Ibens Smørrebrød.

Food allergies or eating habits?
We care about your special needs. For your safety and comfort we have marked each smørrebrød with gluten, lactose, shellfish and vegetarian in the menu. Please ask the staff if you have further questions.
Do you offer takeaway?
Yes, we do! Just tell the waiter when you order, and we will carefully pack your smørrebrød in a box at no additional cost.
Do you accept tips?
The staff will be very happy to accept your appreciation with great thanks. You can either leave cash or ask to pay by card at the table – we will share your kind contribution. With kind regards from everyone at Ibens.
