When you order smørrebrød from Ibens for takeaway, you will experience the same quality and care from our smørrebrød specialists that you know from the restaurant. We use the best seasonal Danish ingredients and prepare everything from scratch.
We offer both delivery and pickup for your order. Specify your preferences and when you’d like your order. We’ll take care of the rest.

Delivery is offered throughout Greater Copenhagen. Your order is confirmed when you receive a personal email from us and your payment is received. Please order at least 24 hours in advance. Delivery and pickup can be done every day between 11 am and 5 pm.

How many can I order for?
It is possible to order Ibens Smørrebrød to take out from just one person. If you are more than 10 people, you can ask for our suggestions.
When is the order deadline?
To allow for the chef’s preparations, we ask that you order at least 24 hours before your desired delivery or pickup. If you are running late, please contact us – we will help if we can.
Can I have it delivered?
Yes – we offer both your smørrebrød for pickup at our restaurant at St. Kongensgade 116A, Copenhagen K, and for delivery throughout Copenhagen for 200 DKK to be paid by our sweet city boy. See our full coverage map here.
How do you pack it?
We pack your open sandwiches in environmentally friendly disposable boxes, so you don’t have to worry about returning anything and it’s easy to serve. For example, if you have ordered for 4 people, each open sandwich will be in its own box. Only the statutory packaging fee for the carrier bag will be added.
Can I order for more than 10 people?
We are Denmark’s smallest smørrebrød restaurant, and our kitchen capacity is therefore quite limited. But call +45 31 70 99 63 or write to mail@ibenssmoerrebroed.dk and we will try to find a solution.
How long can the food last?
We prepare your open sandwiches on the desired day, and the entire meal can therefore stay fresh in the fridge, but we recommend that you serve within 24 hours – preferably the same day.
Is it possible to change or cancel?
Unfortunately, cancellation is not possible. If you wish to change the number of envelopes, time or have any questions, please call us at +45 31 70 99 63 or write to mail@ibenssmoerrebroed.dk.
Allergies or special considerations?
We try to take into account the needs of our guests. For your safety and comfort, we have labeled each smørrebrød with gluten, lactose, shellfish and vegetarian in the menu. If you have special requests for one or more envelopes, please note it in the form under ‘Special requests’ and the kitchen will confirm afterwards.
How do I pay?
You will receive a payment link by email with your order confirmation – here you can pay securely and easily with a credit card. Please note that your order is only valid after payment has been completed.
