Beer
We have beer from Krenkerup Estate on Lolland, brewed according to the German “Reinheitsgebot.”
For the more temperate beer lovers, we have a couple of non-alcoholic beers from Teedawn that taste almost as good as the real thing.
Krenkerup 1307 Pilsner
A pure golden pilsner with a thick, firm foam. The taste has a pleasant sweetness from the malt and a refreshingly gentle bitterness from the hops.

Krenkerup Classic
This beer is based on traditional Danish bottom-fermented lager and brewed with the brewery’s own barley malt, dark aroma malt, and the finest hops. Like all bottom-fermented beers, it undergoes a long maturation process, resulting in a fresh and delightful taste.

Pet Nat
Loimer 2022 (Niederösterreich, Austria)
A vibrant, unfiltered sparkling wine made from 100% Grüner Veltliner using the méthode ancestrale. It opens with aromas of citrus blossom, green pear, and a hint of brioche. The palate is fresh, dry, and effervescent – with notes of lime, gooseberry, and chalky minerality. Perfect with a crispy potato smørrebrød or as a bubbly aperitif before lunch. Playful, charming, and uncompromising – just the way we like it at Ibens.

Rosé
Pittnauer 2023 (Burgenland, Austria)
An elegant rosé wine made from 80% Blaufränkisch, 10% Zweigelt and 10% St. Laurent. The wine is dry and light, with notes of red berries and citrus. It is spontaneously fermented and aged in steel tanks, giving it a fresh profile.

Recommendation: Try Aalborg Dill Akvavit with your herring – such an elegant flavor combination.
Aalborg Taffel Akvavit
Aalborg Taffel Akvavit is the archetype of a clear, Danish aquavit. It has a distinct flavor of caraway seeds, but if you close your eyes, you might notice a subtle hint of orange in the aftertaste. The Danes affectionately call it ‘Red Aalborg’, but its official name was given back in 1846 when it was launched by Isidor Henius – the man who elevated Danish aquavit production to the quality standard we know today.

Aalborg Export Akvavit

During the summer months, you can enjoy an ice-cold homemade lemonade or iced tea with us. The recipes are made by one of our former, dear colleagues, Christina, who really knows how to make these wonderful and refreshing drinks.

We have a good selection of hot drinks; the city’s best filter coffee with freshly ground beans from Roast Copenhagen as well as excellent teas from Fortnum & Mason in London.
In winter, we also serve our own soul-warming ginger tea, which the neighbors come by to enjoy.
Coffee
Ad libitum per person
Danish quality filter coffee brewed with freshly roasted beans from Roast Copenhagen. The coffee is brewed fresh throughout the day and poured into a thermos immediately after brewing to preserve the flavor optimally. Coffee is available ad libitum, and we offer milk and sugar.

We import our teas directly from Fortnum & Mason on Piccadilly in London – it doesn’t get more classic than that! We love serving these beautiful packets of excellent teas to our customers, and Iben’s anglofile heart beats proudly!
